Your Safety First
Our tutors will comply with CDC guidelines for safety, and we expect that our families do the same. Tutors and students must both wear masks when they are working within six feet of each other. Hand sanitizer must be available for all tutors and students. The learning area must be wiped down before and after each Pod session. An adult over the age of 18 must be present during the entire Pod session.
Teaching your child and working from home is an impossible task. At Premier Tutors, we are proud to announce our new Virtual Learning Pod Instructor program. Let our team assist in remote learning so your child stays at the top of the class!
We will provide an in-home Learning Instructor to facilitate curriculum instruction for your pod. Once you gather your pod of 6 (or less) friends and students, fill out the form above to schedule your recurring
in-home Pod Instructor.
Your home, our tutors. The 3-hour sessions will provide the tutor and the student enough time to teach new content, review and re-teach previous content, and provide social-emotional support. Parents provide the school’s curriculum and we do the rest! All Pod sessions are delivered in the comfort of your own home.
With morning and afternoon sessions available Monday – Friday, you have the flexibility to manage your family schedule and your child’s academic routine.
Virtual Learning Pods consist of up to 6 students. A limit of 6 students, even in different grades, affords your child the individual support they may need, and the independent time to work on their assignments. For safety concerns, these students are not interchangeable.
Pods are available on a recurring basis only. Parents may choose between a once a week recurrence or select up to five weekly sessions.
Currently serving Oakland County, Michigan students.
Our team consists of certified teachers, retired teachers, and student teachers. Content knowledge is just as important as social emotional learning and our tutors are experts in both important learning factors. You can rest easy knowing we care about all your child’s academic and emotional needs.
In addition to the State requirements for teaching certification, Premier Tutors maintains an independent, current background check on file for each of the instructors.
The Virtual Learning Pod staff offers expertise in K-8 level work and is excited to begin working with you Pod as early as September.

Premier Tutors was started in 2008 by Tim Dobrzeniecki. Tim earned a Bachelor's Degree from Grand Valley State University in Biology and Chemistry with a Minor in Education and a Master's Degree in Education from Michigan State University.
Over the last decade Tim has taught high school science classes, coached football and golf and served as Athletic Director and Assistant Principal.
Premier Tutors has provided help to students ranging from elementary school to high school seniors preparing for college. Our tutors are qualified to assist in preparing for standardized tests like the ACT, SAT, and the HSPT many 8th grade students take. We also tutor in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, and much more. The goal is to increase confidence and bring excitement and passion to learning.
Premier Tutors is proud to offer The Virtual Learning Pod for families looking to enhance their in home virtual learning experience.
